New format expands the market for big brands
Submit On: 22-08-2010

Expanding the luxury brand market to those with a more modest spending budget, Love Me & Leave Me opened its first store in High Street Armadale.

Simonne Santana has been operating Love Me & Leave Me online for four years, and has now expanded the operation by opening an outlet in High Street Armadale in Melbourne.

Simonne spoke to Monash University students studying Logistics & Fulfilment this week to explain the concept and discuss the issues involved in operating both an on-line and off-line operation.

A key learning from Simonne was that when selecting a web site developer, make sure they understand retail business process.  A good web-site developer on its own is virtually useless if they haven't the retail experience.
