Melbourne workshop February 7 2012
Charles Crouch (Boston University) and Julian Josem are leading this workshop to help retailers profit from the online world.
Workshop Overview
Many traditional Australian retail businesses have
existing online ventures or they are planning them.
However going online, the rules are different
from traditional bricks-and-mortar retailing, and understanding these new rules
is critical for success.
Unfortunately
many online stores are planned and executed without taking these into account
and they don't perform as successfully as they could.
This workshop is designed to give participants
a good overview of the issues involved when extending a business into the online
channel. The methods to measure and
improve their online performance will be explained.
The workshop will include practical material
that participants can use to start-up or improve their online business. The workshop will ensure participants go away with a roadmap for their own particular businesses.
Participants will discuss
many tools that are available online and will be challenged to determine which
to use in their specific situation.
Each participant will have one-on-one time with
the experienced workshop leaders in order to discuss particular issues they
might face in their unique businesses.
