Retail Merchandising, Planning, and OTB

Merchandise planning is a fundamental retailing application.

At Josem Consulting, we find it difficult to imagine a retail business that would not need to implement a merchandise plan.  And further, why they wouldn't use technology to help them do it.

For the smallest of retailers, we have supplied, implemented, and trained people in the use of Strata-G - an integrated Merch Planning, Cash Flow forecasting, and Open-To-Buy tool.  We have even provided proven Microsoft spreadsheets for this purpose.

For around $500, this tool brings together the fundamentals of running a retail business in a simple-to-use PC program.

For larger retailers, our consultants has been involved in the selection and use of more sophisticated tools such as JDA's Enterprise Planning solutions (EP), Buyers Tool Box, Island Pacific Planning, NSB, Oracle, Maple Lake, and SAP.
